Well, there isn't much of it, but with the examples we do have, josei anime has an excellent track record. Chihayafuru, Nodame Cantabile, and Princess Jellyfish are some of the best and most unique anime ever made. Nana and Usagi Drop were good, as well.
In terms of quality release percentage, it obliterates shoujo and shounen.
A lot of the more melodramatic josei seems to get turned into live action instead, though.

You should all chill. I post here for the sake of venting and perhaps show people who hate something they're not alone. I won't diss anyone for liking something! I just ask that they allow my ramblings in here. You don't have to agree with them...
After all, venting from time to time isn't a bad thing... As for any ramblings aimed at you, take them with a grain of salt. Odds are I am messing with you...

Seinen and Josei both exhibit the quality you'd expect of comic books. They aren't shallow. I didn't like Nodame, but meh, there's a lot of manga I didn't like and a lot I did like and some Josei is among the stories, though those are rarer...

Haha, looking at MAL they only have 36 josei series listed as opposed to the 500 to 1500 the others have.

Most beautiful anime character for me, hm. This one is tough, I'll go with my waifu Saber from Fate/Stay Night.
