Why is there a sequel to Fafner.. Its been 10 years since the first one.. I can't really remember anything of the first one.. Its 9 years too late

It's very complicated ...

Actually, there was a sequel to Fafner in the Azure: Dead Aggressor in those 10 years but it was a movie ...

Before then there was a prequel that released after when the first anime series debuted ...

Watched Durarara! S1 again so I'll be ready to watch S2...Its even better on the second watch. I really do love Ryohgo Narita's work.

I also just started Ping Pong and wow, it is really strange to look at. So far I'm really liking it though...the direction is amazing

Really fun season so far. Light on drama and fun animes cranked up to eleven.

I'm dropping Fafner though. It's a good show but hasn't really anything that excites me.
Also dropping Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. This is straight up shounen with a single gag that is run to the ground. Everyone in this anime is just incredibly stupid. Might've kept it if it was shorter but I'm not suffering 2 cours through it.

Heads up for Saekano which is really a lot better than it has any right to be. Feels a lot like Oregairu with a different skin.

Okay, so I'm in a crazy anime mood lately.

I marathon-ed the entirety of Ping Pong last night and it was pretty damn good. The direction was amazing, character progression was great and the art was really interesting. Sports anime aren't exactly my favorite genre, but I had a real good time watching it.

Today I wanted to watch something else, so I decided on Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, which is a miniseries with 3min episodes dedicated solely to light yuri. Its only like, 40minutes of total content but it was cute and probably the most innocuous of all the "guilty pleasure" anime I was thinking about watching.

Still not burnt out on anime so I will probably watch the entirety of Eccentric Family before the day is out :P

Looks like a clean win for Junketsu no Maria as Anime of the Season. Most mature anime I've seen in a while.

And what's with all the people complaining about  sequels this season? Haven't they seen the list for next season?

Saekano (Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata) episode 1 was excellent. I was grinning the whole time. I had high hopes for this coming in, as it offers a lot more than most harem anime, and the first installment delivered. I really like the premise of the "main" girl being much more normal (and forgettable) than the other girls, who are all virtual anime/manga dream girls. Really good direction and voice work so far, too.

Yeah, a very interesting anime for sure! Certainly a better premise than most of the harem shovelware this season :P

Overall, I'm really pretty satisfied with this season. A bunch of sequels that I've been anticipating, along with some great new adaptations and originals!

Nope ...

Scratch that out ...

There could very well be a localization for the vita version if you look at the stretch goals along with the pledges ...
