I think at the end of the season Zankyou or Barakamon will come out on top of the pile. Has anyone watched much of Tokyo ESP? Has it gotten any better after the first episode? (I'm not normally one to judge on one episode alone, but that first episode was a shambles).

I think the second episode was better(or was it the 3rd?). It's quite heartwarming to see how her father suffers through his new powers as well as her.

It's definitely more on the comedy angle than the boring and serious way a lot of these animes go.

Well of course I like some of them! But I guess I should have worded things better. I'm more of a fan of the classic anime, that any better? ^^

Hm... I can only explain this to myself by having watched more classic anime than modern ones. I mean there are as many jewels per season as there were in the olden times.

Though to be fair, 23 of my 38 top rated animes are from before 2010. So there have indeed been a lot good animes in the olden times.

Different people with different tastes, amiright?

Yeah. But it's always hard to see that so many people choose to have a worse taste than me.

So...much...Anime! How do you guys keep up with all this? There are like 4 whole shows on the list that I want to see, not to mention more stuff that aired earlier in the year, and the newest thing I've seen is Attack on Titan. It helps that I usually wait for the dub, but I keep falling further behind anyway.

Also, Vance's description of FMA:B is almost exactly how I'd describe the first FMA, heh.

Simple answer. We don't. I'm not at least. Following more than 20 Animes every season is hard work. You have to be diligent.

Still catching up on last season because I had a brief moment of gaming in between :(

Ah, makes sense. Fortunately for me there are usually only a few Anime every season that appeal to me, though even the ones that do are too much, lol.

yeah, i dont know how they do it... i am only able to watch 3 or a maximum of 4 shows a season, but if i watch more than that then i start to forget stuff like names and plot devices from some of the shows, so i just normally stick with two animes a season.

Really liking Akame ga Kill. The rest of the episodes need to already hurry up.

I watched the first 2, and I doubt there is any hope for this ..  not a Ga-Rei:Zero level show

So, why did we get a new thread?

With the amount of good shows this season, I think I might move on from it for now. Might come back to it later if I hear it picks up over its run.
