I think a good question would be is "what was the scores gamerinformer, IGN and videogamer.com gave the PS3 version and what warrants a perfect 10? I don't believe The Last of Us is a 10, 8-9 seems right for the game

I don't think The Last of Us is a perfect 10 game either. Also agree with it being an 8-9 game.

Why they stayed @10 or went up to 10? Simple.

The game is $50, is an upgraded version of what they rated earlier AND it comes with ALL the available DLC. It's better in every single way. Being 1-year old doesn't take away from that.
