Did you forget about the Kirby platformer already coming to Wii U? :) Anyways, I don't think there's much for either console beyond 2015. 2016 is when they are both replaced I think.

If another 3D Mario is being made (which it more than probably is), I would imagine that it would be for Wii U, not 3DS. Wii U needs game more badly, and while 3D World was an excellent, very fun game, Nintendo I'm sure is fully aware of the potential, as well as desire, for a "bigger" 3D/HD Mario game.

Sadly I think there will be a Mario sandbox/platformer like Disney Infinity and Skylanders that utilize the Amiibos, maybe mid to late 2015.

I wouldnt mind it if it is fun BUT I dont want the next 3D mario game to be Amiibo centered is all Im saying.
