I wasn't leveled up enough to let my characters play by themselves, I had to be always with an eye into them even with the gambits, so I played it for almost 2 hours and he was just halfway dead, then I saved and never played it again, lol, I still have the save... maybe one day... nah! xD |
Yeah, and at the half way point he starts taking half damage too if I remember correctly. You can always auto level with an infinitely spawning enemy and leave it overnight. It takes a while but less tedious than grinding it out yourself, unless it feels too much like cheating to you.

I've had a hard time with that game, but in Krauser's part... in Professional... with no recovery items.
For the longest time I would have said:
Does games in hard difficulty count? because the only one I can think off is Dark Samus from Metroid Prime 3 in hard...that shit is insane, her damage is ridiculous and is extremely hard to dodge some of her attacks...also getting your health drained constantly for about 15 minutes before the fight doesn't help...

That's a good one. Unless you are a god , in Hard or Very Hard difficulty it's almost impossible to beat Black Shadow without killing him...and even if you kill him Blood Falcon is also a huge pain in the ass, but he is at least beatable.

Well, what else can you expect from a game made by LJN?
Actually, I can think of one I gave up on.
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis on hard mode. Just before you fix up the train, there are three Nemesis battles thrown at you. No matter how many times I tried, I just didn't have the ammo nor the health to take all three of them on. My lack of ink ribbons also meant that I had to defeat him all three times without saving inbetween.
