Waaayyy too early to tell.
Look what happened to the PS3 and 360 last gen and how many ups and downs they had.

The first 2 years of the PS3 were just ridiculously bad.
Everybody thought the Xbox 360 would be dead in 2009, before Kinect launched.
The Wii was supposed to sell HUNDREDS of millions.

etc.

There is still a chance that the Xbox One will collapse. There is still a chance that MS decides that they actually want to win this market. There is still a chance of Sonys financial problems getting more and more serious etc.

Yep. We'll probably disagree on certain things in the future but on this particular topic, I completely agree.

We have been assuming that every quarter MS overships 1mi extras XOnes to retail channels.

I think hard to belive retailers would still order more and more unsold consoles.

WW sales for the quarter would be probaly betwing 700k and 800k, with NPD we can assume XOne sold no more than 400k units in the USA, so... how much is VGChartz showing for EU and rest of the world?

I am guessing, from these numbers, that we have 500-600K X1´s shipped, and about the same for 360. That would put the X1 at about 5,6M shipped at the end of june, compared to around 4,5-4,6M sold. That sound like atleast 200-300K too much in the channels, which would me we have it a bit undertracked in Europe.
