Forums - Gaming - WiiU surge is because of PS4 and X1 disapointment?

Wii U sales went up because of its own games and content. Although there's always a group of people who will see anything negatively when it comes to Nintendo. So Nintendo can never win,no matter what they do lol

Its because of Mario Kart it seens, and good games on the upcoming future. Its not hard to understand realy.

Some might have gotten the WiiU first because of their disappointment in the other two right now, but its probably people who will own two or all three consoles at some point. The WiiU had a year start, so ofcourse it has more games.

Well, that's it for my daily dose of shitty articles with no factual basis.

X1 and PS4 are disappointing, they have no must have games, its feels more like an update to the previous gen than something new and fresh. On the other side the WiiU has some must have games, loads of great games and is a much bigger leap from there last console compare to the X1 and PS4.

That's twice now that I've heard this in here. I'm curious, though, what were the must have games on the 360 and PS3 during the same time periods of 2006 and '07? How did the rest of the gen turn out?

Well the 360 launched in late 2005, so that would be an unfair comparison for the PS3...

You misunderstood it. During the first 7 months of both machine's lives, they didn't really have a ton of "must-have" titles. Very much like it always is - few good/new titles here and there, but their bread and butter are far down the road.

Didnt really misunderstand. I read what you wrote.lol

...but yeah, the months after launch of a console are usually pretty dry.

EDIT: I just got what you really meant.lol My bad

Then if you understood, you wouldn't have said anything was unfair, "lol". In all, you get the point, but you did misunderstand my talk about the same time frames. :)

Yeah, I thought you meant from launch until now.

Mario Kart 8 and cheaper Wii U bundles move consoles? Wow.

Thats like saying the Xbox One didnt sell better this month because of the $100 less sku, it was because Wii U & PS4 are disapointments

No it's thanks to Mario Kart 8!
