Oh, we have to take the install base in consideration and the overall gaming scene, don´t we? In a FPS Multiplayer dominated scene, who would think that such a old fashion game would win 2 million hearts (and counting)?

FPS Multiplayeer dominated scene? Besides CoD and BF, FPS don't really sell all that much more than any other genres.

don't worry, PS4 will be the number #1 this gen, no matter what. Let Nintendo won something at least

Wonderful 101, DKTF, SM3DW, Zombi U, Sonic Lost world, Monster Hunter, Batman, Assassins Creed, Deus EX, NSMBU, Nintendoland, COD, Windwaker, Pikmin 3, Lego City, Mario Kart 8, tons of indie games, virtual console...you telling me there's not much variety for Wii U owners??

It's the only game wiiu owners have been talking about all year basically. Of course it should sell more. Also until smash the wiiu doesn't have anything coming out exciting. Not true for ps4. 

Bayonetta 1&2 , Hyrule warriors, Sonic Boom and Fatal Frame (exciting for the Japanese) say hi.

MK8 is one of the best games from a very popular seriesc - of course people are talking about it. 

MK always has a tie ratio of ~30% on consoles.  It's performing exactly as it always has.  It's pretty irrelevent what games are (or aren't) coming out in the next couple of months.  MK will have legs.  It will continue to sell to ~30% of all new WiiU owners until the end of the generation.

You want spinning?

WD - 8m shipped / 180m consoles (not including pc) = tie ratio 4.4%

MK8 - 2m+ sold / 6.6m consoles = tie ratio 30%

Leaving out some crucial information in your analysis is definitely 'spinning'.

The most hyped game Exclusive on Wii U And biggest game of Nintendo passing a New multiplatform ip, Only One version, That is not the most hyped game of the year? Not really an achievement, the opposite would be really a shame for MK
