Ya just way too many platformers in such a short time. NSMBU, 3D World, Tropical Freeze from Nintendo plus Rayman & Sonic from 3rd parties. Nintendo needed more diversity from its big hitters in the early going.

Agree. They should have released before 3D World and DK other games like MK8, Smash, 3DMario, Zelda and Metroid.

Yet the wii never matched ps4's launch..The ps4 won;t fall of a cliff like wii did because it does not rely on a terrible gimmick. Wii was a terible leader full of shovelware.

 

Hilarious how you cherry pick 1 month, ps4 june us bigger then MANy ps2 junes (You know the biggets selling console ever), and bigger then MOST 360's, the 45 million seller in the US alone.

even more dumb, is you ignoring the huge launch sales that wii never had, pr ps2 and others never had, had supply been better to meet demand back then summer months would be slower. PS4 bets days are ahead of it, it's still 400 bucks, wii was cheaper as well. Once more games and a price drop comes....you get the picture. It will easily surpass the wii Liftime. Dilusional nintendo fans.
