This gen is gonna be so boring then!

i know. if only we had something to entertain outselfs with.... i dont know maybe something we can interact with..... something we can do at our homes, something we can do pretty much any time we want too. something like playing a game maybe.

To be fair, we need to find out how accurate MS was with their internal estimate.  They may be in 3rd.  Also, from one of the tweets posted prior, it seems like the poster thought they were estimating for a specific length of time in June, not for the whole month.  Creamsugar will let us know soon enough.

Price cut was on june 6th, it's been pretty much in effect for entire month, unless they were talking about period between 1st and 5th june

True, but they may have only looked at the 1st two weeks of the price cut.  It seems like after those two weeks, at least on Amazon and Gamestop's website, the One dropped like a stone.  And MS also stated that their sellthrough was based on retail shipments.  So, it could very well be that stores ordered more $399 consoles due to great 1st week sales, but then the demand dropped.  Not saying that they can't be accurate, of course.  Again, we'll see.

Okay correction: Doesn't care about 3rd parties NEARLY as much as the competition.

Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD

all they need to do is keep doing what theyre doing. they have the most games and the largest variety. people will end up seeing that. wii u also has japan on lock down, its winning that territory. nintendomination.

And you seriously expect Sony to sit on their asses while doing nothing ?

@Bold Yeah like they did before ... /sarcasm

Japan is irrelevant and the vita is doing better there ...

I think were done with this conversation but come back to me once you go look at the data.

I honestly wouldn't bother with some of those people. Its like they conveninetly forget that PS4 is still less than a year old and that prcatically 95% of every single multiplat game will be on the PS4 and not the wiiU. And japan, lets all just wait till FF15, MGS:PP, Bloodborne..etc actually are out there. Apparently in nintendo land if a game isn't exclusive then it doesn't exist and can't imapct sales... can't blame though since all they have to look forward to are exclusives.

Nice Wii U, hopefully it just keeps selling this good in the forthcoming months.

You do realize that once devs in Japan actually move fully onto the current gen, the PS4 is going to be getting the majority of 3rd party support, right?  Wii U isn't getting big games like FF15 or KH3, and probably won't get the new RE games, either.  Fact is, if a dev wants to pump out a visually impressive game, they will always go with the PS4.

You mean those games that will be delayed to 2018?

Also, it isn't about graphics. Nintendo just doesn't care about 3rd parties (except on 3DS)

Which is why their home consoles will always suffer.  And why we see PS4 flourishing, now.  Nintendo can't keep pumping out great games to help push sales, which is where 3rd party is supposed to come in.

Wii U did great! Way above what pachter predited (67k). I'm curious about XOne.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Try "3rd parties don't care about Nintendo" and you will be on the right path

The unfortunate thing about this website is that the same wii u vs ps4 argument needs to come up twice a day.
