You forgot the MMO genre (I guess they could be called online RPGs)...

Anyway, I just can't commit that ammount of time to character building, that becomes like a second, or even first job.

It really doesn't. I play Guild Wars 2 and Star Trek Online. I only play 3 hrs at most. You can still level up and reach the end. You can't fight the people who are obsessed with the game, though. But if you don't play PVP, your fine.

MMO max levels are decreasing. DCUO has 30 as a max level, and FF XIV ARR has 50 as a max level, but you can max every class to level 50 and there are 19 classes however....but you level up them faster the greater the discrepancy between it and your highest level class is.

Yeah, if you want to do everything in the game. But still, my point was you don't have to play it every single moment of your life. As long as you don't want to compete in PVP. That's the only place were you need to go insane. The rest. You can take 5 years to beat a game. There's no rush. I just play with a friend  3 hrs a day at most. And wait for new content.  I even stopped for 1 year so that Star Trek Online was able to add 4 seasons of missions in.

First Person Shooters for me. I have played a few fps games, but I can never play them longer then 30min at a time. Since it makes me feel sick in the stomache.

because of the camera, or the fact that youre shooting people?

Its the camera... if it wasnt for that issue I would like fps games.

How many fps' have you tried?

my friend gets sick of playing left4dead, but hes fine with other shooters like battlefield. It could be related to the settings or some graphical effects.

Mass effect makes me sick, but thats because it runs like a slideshow on PS3 lol.

Kinda of expected that sports games get all that hate because annual releases have really hurt their image the last few years.I prefer more arcade kind of sports than the simulation one's.Nintendo has done a good job in that part with Strikers being the highlight for me.

I've gotten into all those genres. Adventure games, however, are not for me.

Though I did enjoy Super Brothers: Sword and Sorcery.

Realistic Sport games... ugh.

And Racing Sims.. .*shudders*

First Person Shooter right here. Do not like them, they are all the same to me. No one tries anything different in this genre, it's all the same just different enemies

Tactical strategy and Sports.

I have played very little, actual strategy games, those being C&C:Red Alert 2 and ages of empire 2. As for sports games, aside from racing (and even that, I'm not a huge fan of) I just don't find it enjoyable when I can just go out and do it.
