Also, I think you have all this backwards. If you say (and it's true) that PS4 games outsell XOne versions and then say that XBox version of CoD will outsell PS versions, doesn't that actually imply that this deal is working.
They've managed to outsell PS, which no other game does. So Activision and MS made an excellent business decision.

I argue that it is more sensible to make these kind of deals (short time exclusive DLCs, map pack, skins etc...) for a weaker console, in order to have them compete better, to bring some more people to buy them, and ultimately will force the leading console to give them better deals.
One console just manhandling the other is not goid for publisher's business, because if Sony builds a huge lead, it can demand higher royalties cutting into developer's profits, which cannot be offset by eventual lower royalties from a losing console.

It is only sensible for a publisher to support the weaker seller, while also making a few bucks from exclusivity contracts to boot.

Calling any deal that you dont know the specifics of a bad decision is dumb. Do you know how much activision is getting paid? No? Do you have research about how much timed exclusive dlc affects sales? No? Do you know anything about the deal other than ps dlc is delayed a month?

Do these deals suck for gamers? Sure, but without knowing the details of the deal, how can we know if it is bad or not?

It´s timely exclusive. PS gamers will get the same content and for the same price a few weeks after.

I doubt many PS sales will be compromised because of that... Destiny on the other hand for the Xbox...
