Forums - Nintendo - Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker: Where Nintendo Falls Short

There are already so many point and click adventure games on pc for your itch. The genre itself is quite in resurgence. Console games work well with more pick up and play mechanics. ^^

Also let's wait for the game to come out and see how it turns out.

I'm not saying make it into a point and click adventure, I'm saying take aspects of those games and incorporate them into a Treasure Hunter game to make it feel like more of a treasure hunting game and make the gameplay more interesting than what they have shown.

A full-fledged video game featuring Toad as the main character? Ehhhhhh........

It could be done. If freakin' Yoshi gets a game, then Toad could as well.

Heck, Peach got her own game as well, so you might be right!

No one has played the full game yet you already starting to make it bad??? I don't know how in the world why we should take your opinion seriously!!!

I don't know, the dragon and train levels looked rather intense especially for a puzzle game. They are definitely taking the concept much beyond the side levels from 3D World

I didn't say it would be bad per se, just that they could expand on the idea a lot more.

The dragon level looked kind of weak actually. You just hide befind the pillars when it blows fireballs and then run. That's the action aspect I was talking about though. That part's good.

This is kind of a new series for them. Let them learn from their mistakes first. Maybe it will actually be great!

Is it going to be a series though? Or just a one time spin off from 3D world kind of like Super Luigi U? I'm not necessarily saying that this game specifically should incorporate these ideas at this point, the whole point is to say where Nintendo kind of falls short when they DO bring out new games and ideas like this.

Chill man. I have zero reason to believe that anything I mentioned will be in the game. Maybe a couple things in a very limited way but that's it.
