Yes. That's how many of us feel. Retro is our only hope to see Metroid or 3D DK and now they are focused on other games that can be made by other developers.


Metroid cant be made by other developers...?

Metroid games were made for 15 years before Retro made one...

I think Retro should just work on a completely new IP. Nothing DK at all! We've had enough DK for a little bit now. Let's focus on other IP's. A new Metroid is welcomed, but a new IP would be even better.

Also I would love a new Diddy Kong Racer in like 2016. The 64 version was extremely fun and very different from Mario Kart.

NOOOOOOOOO!!

Mario Kart 8 is more than enough cart racing fun for me. We don't need this game. I'd rather Retro work on Star Fox or Metroid Prime.

I'm not too interested in Diddy Racing. I never played the first one, so my nostalgia goggles do not factor. I would prefer if they did a new first person Metroid game in the vein of Prime. However, I think it would also be cool if Retro were tasked with reviving an old forgotten Nintendo IP. Something like Star Tropics would really get me excited.

Of course they would have to remove the Jet Pac game, but that wouldn't pose too big a problem, would it???
