Either rounded up or sold to retailers. The numbers are pretty close though. If it is sold to retailers then it's actually probably that the total sold is a few hundred k overtracked.

Japan just sold 3mil in japan. By far the strongest region. so about 3.2mil-3.3mil shipped imo

US is around 1.8mil but we can round it up to 2mil shipped as there are barely any vita's on store shelves.

That equals 5.2mil-5.3mil. Add in Europe's 2.5mil-3mil Shipped (this im guessing) and we're at 7.7mil-8.3mil Max. Of course there are the other countries to include so imo 8mil-8.5mil Ship sounds about right

NO. Vita started to sell well in 2014 (or End 2013) in Japan! 2012 was horible in japan due to the price and EU sales was almost 3 times better in the first half of 2012. Vita started to sell slightly better in japan after the Price cut in 2013 So EU should have at least 1Million more vitas than japan in my Opinion! Don't forget that your comparing a country with a continent, doing better in a country doesn't mean it sell better in that country than in a continent!!
