I know it's an unfair fight for the Wii U.. but I didn't want to discriminate

I would say that PS4 and XB1 could pull of 3,9 M in December 2015... though that'll depend on which third parties are released on top of the big guns like Halo 5 and Uncharted 4

For reference in December 2013 it was 2,3M (with stock shortages) for PS4 and 1,5M for XB1 (with limited release, country-wise). Surely 3,9M next year is far from impossible?

Honestly, it might do it in this December depending on supply.

XBO could do it if things line up perfectly Holiday 2015 or if they have another "Kinect" that makes sales jump. I'm gonna say it won't for now.

In about a year. PS3 and 360 still have decent sales. As with ps2, sony will still support ps3. Plus the heavy hitters will be coming out in the call through early next year. I believe ps4 sales are going to be crazy during that time

The PS4 and XBOne will most likely do it in December 2016 after the first official price drops. And I think I am being optimistic here. Typically consoles peak in sales around their 3rd year on the market (so December 2016).
