When do you think the new consoles will reach highest monthly sales of predecessors?

In about a year. PS3 and 360 still have decent sales. As with ps2, sony will still support ps3. Plus the heavy hitters will be coming out in the call through early next year. I believe ps4 sales are going to be crazy during that time
