That generalization hurts me deeply.

Typical. When CoD gets timed exclusive CoD DLC they troll on PS users 24/7, when we get something they threaten to pull the plug.

Activision/Bungie are damaging sales and pissing of a goog amount of players for no good reasons.

Exclusive content per se is not bad, even if it´s for one full year. And there is always the change that other exclusive content would came to either consoles.

But paying the same for less content is a jerk move and gamers won´t forgive or forget that easely.

CoD is one month, Destiny is a whole year and will segregate content for people paing the same price.

This is far far worst. It´s not just one extra hour of game play like Assassins Creed or Joker in Batman AA.

 Destiny is a quasy MMO a long run adventure set in an ever expanding universe.

They are pissing off Xbox owners (remember the 50mi active 360 users?) for some obscure reason.

let the xbox owners be pissed.  they brought all this timed exclusivity crap on themselves.  it's one thing to boast and mock when you get it for the 360 all last gen, but to cry and whine now because they are getting a taste of their own medicine? 

if anything, if it was a different game by a different dev, then xbox owners wouldn't even bat an eye.  The fact that it's from BUNGIE.. "Oh hell nahh!!", right?  but they forget it's also published by Activision.. the same folks who sells MS timed exclusives for COD.  1 month, 1 year, or complete console exclusivity.. that's just business nowadays. 

If you don't like it.. either deal with it or buy the system the DLC comes out to for first.  It's not like the whole point of exclusivity in the first place is to try and sell your console by offering incentives not found on other consoles. 

And GTA4 360 dlc was forever. Till this day you still cannot getthe GTA4 DLC on PS3. So what were you saying about something being far worse again?

And the GTA core fanbase was on the PS2, the tens of millions of people that guranteed the continual success of their IP, yet it wasn't obscure when they decided to piss on them, hell if i recall everyone thought GTA4 coming to the 360 and even getting exclusive dlc was a great victory. Now that i think of it, this is pretty much sony taking a page directly outta MS handbook, though nowhere near as harsh.

I will say again, its one thing if any of this is new, but it isn't and this whole nonsense was started by MS to begin with and their fans didn't seem to mind thorugh out last gen, hell even now you don't see them having an issue with CoD dlc or evolve dlc exclusivity. So again, anyone that doesn't like it should either shut up or just deal with it or both.

The discusion now is not exclusive for ever or one year (tip to the other guy that insists in repeat the one month COD exemple), it´s Xbox owners geting less content by the same price with the extra DLC content.

That is the whole point of that thread. If you guys insists in talking about the COD/GTA case, be my guest and open another thread. For the GTA 4 case, PS3 owners didn´t have pay for any extra DLC that didn´t included exclusive content.

As I said, Destiny is sopose to be a continuous experience not just a simple campain with begin and end in 20 or so hours.

And I don´t think the Evolve case will be like: DLC "Escalation" will have extra weapons and perks for XOne but for PS4 the price will be the same and has no extra features what so ever.

Not all Xbox 360 owners (Example - Me) were gloating and mocking when the 360 ended up getting a whole bunch of big-game timed DLC. I disliked it just as much then as I do now. I think its the worst thing to come out of Gen 7, and I think the whole "laughing" at the people who have to wait is just a completely shitty thing to do.

Since you insist though that this thread is about people paying the same amount of money for less then I will drop it. Since I can't argue with that and that is bad for anyone.

I still stand by one thing though... this whole DLC or exclusive content or timed this or that as a way of making multiplatform games "better" on one coneole as opposed to another.... were all started by MS. They started this. Once upon a time multiplats were just that, the same game released on different platforms. But it wasn't enough for MS to jut get the games on their platform, they wanted to make sure that there version of the game was the best one to get. Even if it was nothing more than a test of patience. Point is, what we are seeing today is the ugly face of th ebaby MS birthed last gen. And its going to get worse. For all fans..... or hopefully just stops.
