Forums - Sales - Difference between PS4 and XBO sales Destiny launch week?

I'll say a 40%-55% boost to the PS4 sales from whatever it was the week before.

Emm... Watch Dogs boots is 61%...

PS4 165,020 (+61%) 7,877,781

Destiny boots will be much more big, because the game will sell more, and because resaled new PS4 white... for me will be 200% of boost.

destiny will sell close to twice as many copies on the ps4 as compared to the xb1. between 1.7:1 and 2:1

we will see a much larger console sale boost on the ps4 compared to xb1, especially with that destiny bundle that is still higher on amazons hourly sales than the xb1.

I think it will be a bigger boost than that.  This is one of the biggest games of the year.  It will be much bigger than watch dogs and that game gave the ps4 a 50% boost.  Plus it has the white ps4 bundle.

My guess is it will be around a 100-150% boost for the ps4 and 20-40% boost for the x1.

As far as software

ps4 - 2.5-3 million

x1-1-1.5 million

You may be ont something there....

I don't think it will give that much of a boost to the XB1 though. For starters its in a strange month, september and with the game bundled with a  white PS4 and the PS4 heavy marketing push it will have, my guess is that anyone looking to buy a console just for that game will be going with teh PS4. Sales for the game on XB1 are going to be almost exclusive to people that already own a XB1. Chances are, sales for the XB1 may actually drop for that week instead of climb.

nah, if anything my estimates for the x1 are slightly conservative.  Just because that one game is more appealing for the ps4, doesn't mean that it is the only reason they are buying a new system.  People are generally interested in a variety of games, and destiny would just be the tipping point.  It will definitely boost the x1 hardware, just not nearly as much as the ps4...

It'll boost the PS4 a lot. I'm going to say 120-150% boost in console sales.
XBO will get a boost of 50-60%. These are my predictions at least, could be higher or lower.

PS4 version of Destiny will sell 2.5-3.0 million copies launch week
XBO version of Destiny will sell 1.0-1.5 million copies launch week.

150k boost for ps4
50K boost for Xbox one
Destiny ps4: 3 millions first week
Destiny Xbox one:1.8 millions first week

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

judging by the drama surrounding the moneyhat. id say ps4 version will murder the xbone version and we haven't see the resolution/framerate yet. #funnytimeawaits

Double

Or

A lot

PS4 3 millions and Xbox one 1.5 million, I did math and Destiny will have to sell 10,000,000 copies to get over 100,000M profit. Game is cost 500M, IDK if they will make money.

didn't they already announce it was going to be 1080p 30fps on both systems?
