I think it will be a bigger boost than that.  This is one of the biggest games of the year.  It will be much bigger than watch dogs and that game gave the ps4 a 50% boost.  Plus it has the white ps4 bundle.

My guess is it will be around a 100-150% boost for the ps4 and 20-40% boost for the x1.

As far as software

ps4 - 2.5-3 million

x1-1-1.5 million

You may be ont something there....

I don't think it will give that much of a boost to the XB1 though. For starters its in a strange month, september and with the game bundled with a  white PS4 and the PS4 heavy marketing push it will have, my guess is that anyone looking to buy a console just for that game will be going with teh PS4. Sales for the game on XB1 are going to be almost exclusive to people that already own a XB1. Chances are, sales for the XB1 may actually drop for that week instead of climb.

nah, if anything my estimates for the x1 are slightly conservative.  Just because that one game is more appealing for the ps4, doesn't mean that it is the only reason they are buying a new system.  People are generally interested in a variety of games, and destiny would just be the tipping point.  It will definitely boost the x1 hardware, just not nearly as much as the ps4...
