I think that the biggest reason why I've been excited that Smash and Kart are finally being released is because now Nintendo can finally start focussing on the real games...

 Mario sports games! I have an unhealthy love for these games. I don't care that I don't like sports games. Throw Mario into soccer or tennis, and I'm good. And I also really hope that they make a dedicated Mario Football (American) and Mario Basketball game for the Wii U this generation. After Splatoon, I've given up on Mario Paintball.

Mario Strikers. If EA is not going to bother to put FIFA on the console, Nintendo must make a football game that makes EA green of envy.

Why isnt Konami putting PES on the WiiU? EA just handed them an entire console. Its weird...

Anyway enough with Mario, I want Mii based sport games, full-fledged sports games not minigames ala WiiSports.
Mii basket, Mii hockey, Mii rugby and of course Mii soccer, this is the World Cup Year, what are they waiting for? :P

meh i want them to go back to the n64 days and make real sports games like Ken Griffey Jr Baseball. One of the best ones still out there.

Yep, Tennis is all I need. A new and actually good Strikers would be a nice to have.
