I wouldn't mind a Xenosaga collection since I've never played any of the Xenosaga games! Are they any good compared to the masterpiece that is Xenoblade?

Namco still owns 16% of Monolith so everything could be possible and recent games like Super Robot Taisen OG Saga and Project X Zone were still developed for Namco.
A Xenosaga 1-3 HD Remake with all three games combined into one would be great, currently playing Xenosaga 3 after watching the movie of 1-2 on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvbXiOvWFp0
Great JRPG so far with a dark and philosophical (but sometimes cheesy) storyline, the overall feeling reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy 8.
After watching the ending of Xenoblade Chonicles which is directly related to the other Xeno games, I got curious, however Xenoblade does almost everything a lot better and is a far superior and more refined product. I recently tried to play Xenogears but the encounter rate with a random battle every two steps is way too high for the game to be fun to play.

They are not as good as Xenoblade but they are still very good games int heir own right with a pretty good story. I personally liked 1 & 3 the best.
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Dude lets get Xenosaga on PS4 :D
PSn - greencactaur
Nintendo Switch FC - SW - 5152 - 6393 - 5140 Please feel free to add me :)

Imo, Xenosaga breaks down like this.
First game is good due to the world design, XenoCard, and the storyline. Battle system in the first game was trash.
The second game didn't have anything going for it. They tried to give it a strategic battle system but it boiled down to stock all your characters turns then attack with one long combo string to do any real damage, and this is on every battle random or boss. Most of the storyline could actually be removed and it wouldn't make a difference.
Xenosaga 3 the storyline isn't as good as the first one, but the battle system this time around is actually good. It's got a traditional battle system but characters now have two types of attacks, regular attack skills or break skills. The storyline is good but one thing about it is it's got this really weird design choice when doing the storyline as a lot of the story sequences played in the regular camera view. It was just weird getting into a story scene and the camera didn't really change while the characters are standing their static when talking when the other half of the story scenes have cinematic camera angles.
Wheter I'd buy an HD collection, maybe maybe not.
I wouldn't mind if a smaller team from Monolith took a break from new projects and worked on a Xenosaga remake/remaster. C'mon Nintendo, throw some money at them.

Being that they want it to sell, better make it either PS3 or PS4 exclusive.
If Monolith remakes Xenosaga the it's Nintendo exclusive. Even if Namco is in, it'll still be exclusive, considering all other games from Monolith Namco has been exclusive since buyout.
