Deadlocked is a spin-off, Quest for Booty is a really short game (and its not really good compared to other games). Up Your Arsenal is quite a good ratchet game though, but if you want the best of the series i would recommend to play the full future trilogy (A Crack in time is the best imo, and Tools of destruction is really good as well).

I think you should give A Crack in Time, Tools of Destruction and Going Commando a try! They are all miles better than Deadlocked and Quest for Booty..

I'll try the future games at some point down the line. Don't own a PS3 right now.

A while back I had to make a few sacrifices and the PS3 was one of them. I have a PS4 now so I'll play them on PS Now if the prices are reasonable. 

That's sad to hear. I hope a few years down the line you get to repurchase a PS3, as I'm sure there are still great PS3 titles you haven't played.

The first Jak&Daxter was excellent, so was the first Ratchet&Clank. Ratchet kept on being good, while Jak became big adventure games. Naughty Dog stopped right on time, while Insomniac milked the franchise to no point.
