What was the first week sales of the X360 in Japan? It can't be that hard to beat it, right?

Wow... now Im predicting a lower opening of 800k first weekend, but it will struggle to reach 15, maybe 16 million LT in Japan. Not bad numbers, especially in the dead console market

There is a little base of xbox players in japan... 2 millions of players more or less. They must be excited with the release of a new Xbox the first days of reserves, but it´ll fall down in the list slowly believes me. Forza and Dead Rising aren´t japanese like games and will flop in sales. 50k first week would be a very good opening for X1 with those games.

The only way to success for X1 in Japan is a REALLY BIG jrpg exclusive announcement. That´s the only truth

don't forget there are still many foreigners working in japan, and i believe many of them are XB fans so it will still have a launching hype for these people, after that will depend on how M$ get whatever up coming exclusives they have to attract japanese gamers...

If the 360, with a better japanese support and with the market in better shape couldn't succeed in Japan, the Xbone will have it near impossible.

Interesting. Given that the PS4 sells like crap in Japan, the XBO might (that is a very ginormous might, mind you!) actually outsell it. I doubt it though.

They would probably buy a Playstation instead of xbox one just like it happen in USA
