nintendo should buy capcom. its obvious. nintendo already has the best games, and if they can secure iconic franchises like street fighter, devil may cry, mega man, resident evil, dead rising, and.. other games, then they could pretty much make worse mistakes than they already have this generation and still turn a decent profit. think about it, all they would have to do is put a team together to make a game, and bam, its done. miyamoto can make a megaman game, im sure he would have fun with that. if sony or microsoft got capcom, that would be a disaster. surely not as much of a disaster as capcom managing themselves, but it would still be a disaster because of the missed opportunity for nintendo to acquire them.

think about how many cool games would come out if nintendo had all the rights to capcom's franchises. imagine nintendo vs capcom or something like that, wouldnt that be cool? it would only be on nintendo systems. thats how it should be. its one step closer for nintendo to have every game exclusive on their platform. they missed a GIANT opportunity with atlus, but if nintendo can pick up the pieces when sega falls, they will have the chance to not only own atlus, but sega as well, so there is still hope there. 

dont you guys want to see nintendo pick up every struggling third party and have all the games exclusive to their systems? thats what i want.

i just had a thought. if i had won the lottery right when capcom got put up for sale, i would just buy capcom myself and them give it to nintendo, and insist they have it. or offer it at a price that they cannot refuse. imagine all the good that would do for gaming.

No I dont want Nintendo to buy them, if Miyamoto was making a Mega Man game then that's one Nintendo game that he would have been making that we would not get, like if he was making Mega Man now we wouldn't get Star Fox on Wii U.  Also how would they make worse mistakes and still turn a decent profit?  Even if they get games like RE, DR, DMC they are still investing a lot into these games and the sales have to compensate, and the sales of these series would plummet if they were only on Nintendo consoles.  If NIntendo buys Capcom the budget for these games is gonna go way down so they can actually make a profit off the games.

They should hire Comcept to make the games.

i can see what youre saying about miyamoto, but if he were really excited to make a megaman game and really had good ideas and was motivated to do it, then i see nothing but a great game coming our way. all these games, whether they be star fox, mega man, f zero, resident evil, dmc.. they would all be nintendo's to use and do whatever they want with. they would have to give these projects to the right teams and i am sure they could make great games out of them. even sakurai can dick around with any of these new acquirements that he finds interesting. the budget would go down, but thats not going to hurt the quality of the game. nintendo has made way better games than capcom in recent years with a fraction of the budget.
