Lightning. It may have never cost me a race, but I'm statistically the most frequently angry with that item.

Coins I can work around (unless it's 5 times in a row), and blue shells aren't as bad in this version, only costing me two races so far.

Unless you already have 10 coins and are in second place in the final stretch of the last lap.

Then it's just infuriating.

Also has anyone else noticed a blue shell alert that disappears making you think it failed then it hits a few seconds later? I hit it with the speaker and thought I was safe. Nope. My first thought is lag.

I guess Red Shells, but while they're the most OP item, they don't necessarily annoy me more than the other items, as they can all be obnoxious at times, yes even the Blooper!

Fire flower, if only because rear-firing it is INCREDIBLE dickery when you're behind someone who chooses, for whatever reason, to deploy it backwards. Something i refuse to do as a point of honor, even if i may deploy other cruel tactics periodically.

Also the boomerang. I can't use it for shit, but other people seem to be able to.

I swear on 150cc ricocheting green shells gravitate towards the player.
