Ubisoft is actually right! the future of the WiiU is still unpredictable because there are still chances, that if MK8 and SS increase sales for long enough period of time, 3rd parties will invest and things will get even better

so it is now or never for the WiiU

Please, no they won't. Mass Effect 3 instead of Trilogy painted 3rd parties picture towards Wii U before it even launched.

I know...

no-one expects WiiU to ever get proper 3rd party support, WiiU wouldn't get Ps4/XboxONE 3rd party support levels even if it was selling like the Wii, but at least Mass Effect 3 is better than the nothing we are getting right now

Wii level support would stilll increase sales, now we are getting almost nothing :/

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Oh Ubisoft...you have gone from one of my favorite developers to one of my least favorite as of late.

They are doing what they need to do.

Their argument is flawed as fuck, are they giving up the Xbox One while it's currently in third place ? Nope. Of course they go on thinking they can sell better on One than on Wii U, but they're to blame on Wii U, they delay games, say craps, and then complaint. If they just released games same time and with a decent advertisement too it would sell better, but now it is too late, they somehow pissed most people on Wii U even if the Wii U performs well, Ubi's game aside from Just Dance have little chances to perform good.

This is all true

No your wrong ....because in the long run ...mario kart 8 will still be selling years from now and watch dogs will not just look at the charts right now mario kart8 has the most sales this week worldwide of any game .......first week sales does not indicate how well a game is gonna sell

You don't know that. It will continue to sell sure, but not in the numbers it did in its first week. Generally first week sales DO indicate how well it's going to sell because it'll the most in that first week.

Nintendo badly needs another price drop (and one that also hits Japan).

$250 is a good price for the Wii U, and it will help drive sales of games released on the system. Not price cutting it at this point is limiting their software sales potential, and as such, third parties have every right to stay away from a Nintendo too stubborn to see that.

Most people still think the Wii U, for what it offers, is too expensive. Because it is.

Like I said earlier in a post I posted, this guy is a fucking liar plain and simple. Ubisoft once Mario Kart starts leading Watch Dogs consistently each week and pulls ahead of it for good you will see Unisoft throw a kiddie tantrum and pull support completely. One there is no game completed for the Wii U and if they do release a game I'm a 1000 percent certain its a Rabbids HD remake that gets released.Hey Ubisoft see that rock right there go crawl back under it.

Games tend to sell the most in their first week or two I think it is. Do you really think Mario Kart or watch dogs will continue to sell in the numbers they sold when they first released? The point is, the first couple of weeks, even the first week are the most important time in terms of sales for game releases and Watch Dogs blew mario kart out of the water.

No your wrong ....because in the long run ...mario kart 8 will still be selling years from now and watch dogs will not just look at the charts right now mario kart8 has the most sales this week worldwide of any game .......first week sales does not indicate how well a game is gonna sell

Bingo!

Yet they're doing stuff for XB1, who has a lower install base... logic ubisoft

lol your  logic is flawed so just because a game sells well it's first week ..you logic is saying that should show that a game is going to sell well ...lol come on man really lol....mario kart games always have legs in its lifetime .....just look at all the previous mario karts ...lol mario kart 7 and mario kart wii are still in the top 100 and that came out 6  years ago ....I can bring up numerous examples of games that had a great first week and bombed after that lol

Higher install base won't help. Ubi is practically demanding that they change their demographic.

No, they are just demanding they get back their wii demographic.  The secret game they want to release for it is towards family/kid friendly.

Never thought about that before. interesting, problem is they CANT get them back those days are long over and they are NOT coming back. IMHO it might be better if they pull suport. The "core" games they make dont do anything on the system. AND the system doesnt have the install base to buy the shovelware that they sold for Wii.
