Oh how exciting! Capcom is for sale. Nintendo could buy them!
Apparently lost in the excitement is the fact that Capcom's shareholders have basically just said that they'd like to sell while Capcom's still worth something. They can see the end of the cliff, and they'd like to sell somebody else their train ticket before they go over like THQ.
This is not a good thing. If somebody buys Capcom, whether it's Nintendo or EA, that makes Capcom the first major casualty of the 8th gen. Or was that Atlus? They're falling so fast I'm having a tough time keeping track.
