Why so much excitement about Capcom?

Atlus wasn't at fault for its failure. It was just caught in the middle of their corrupt parent company. Capcom has been in a steady decline and now finally its shareholders are scrambling to figure out what to do so they don't lose all their investment. Nintendo would be the perfect fit for Capcoms character roster and I feel Nintendo won't devalue any of the franchises. I still wish they were the winning bidder for Atlus but SEGA was the next best.
