Capcon came out of the 7th gen mortally wounded (continuous re-releases, overabundance of DLC, on disc DLC, not offering enough depth into their games, shutting down promising studios for mediocre sales, unnecesary reboots, wasting money on mobile gaming, their refusal to acknowledge the Megaman demand, i can continue all day.). This was practically inevitable.
