There is a lot of misunderstanding in the CAPCOM situation . They are NOT up for sell. They are NOT interested in a merger. All that happened was their takeover defense was not approved. That just means some douche bag can buy enough stock to have controlling over what happens at CAP. This is more of threat from CAP's investors pretty much saying "if you dont get your act together theres no takeover defense to save you"
As for Nintendo getting them... Its a delusion fan dream. Nintendo would NOT forcefully takeover CAPCOM. If Nintendo were to buy another huge it would somebody not in game industry that strengthen then name brand Nintendo worldwide in a way they cant just by being a game developer like a merchandise company. Japanese publishers dont do forceful takeovers. Any time a japanese company buys another its small company they already have good ties with or two companies with similar styles merging.
