Hes speaking in real numbers. 199k to 197k is not a boost. No matter if you try spinning it, its still a loss.

No, it's not. We don't know how much WD week boosted from previous week. Those are the numbers that matter, not MoM. That's not spin.

If week to week are the numbers that matter then why dont Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft just start announcing weekly sales themselves every week? We have no legit reliable source of weekly sales in the US. If we did then it would show how much WoW matters.

I think the PS4 was meant to dip on this months NPD. But the release of watch dogs did in fact sell systems. It just makes it equal to last months.

This.  How do we know that the numbers would not have been lower without WD?  It's all relative.

Who said they are "the numbers that matter"? They matter to ascertain whether there was a HW boost from WD or not. They aren't "the ones that matter" in general. WD isn't an exclusive, even a "significant" HW boost would hardly be big enough to stand out on most MoM, that's for big exclusives.

The OP specifically asked about weekly sales. (no HW boost in usa during watch dogs week? what happened?)

We do not have weekly sales from NPD, only monthly. We have no idea what the actual weekly sales were. We can GUESS that is sold better WD launch week, but that is about it.
