Animal Crossing - Holidays 2015
Paper Mario - Summer 2016

Animal Crossing for Holiday 2015, Paper Mario for sometime in 2016.

Hopefully 2015.

I have a feeling Animal Crossing is not going to happen on the Wii U, that will be a launch-window title for the next handheld as the sales potential is much higher for a portable version and they will need big games for their next launch (especially after learning some harsh lessons from this gen). Plus I believe a big chunk of the Splatoon team is the Animal Crossing team.

Paper Mario could go either way.

Wii U is going to get a Metroid U though, that should cover most of the main Nintendo IP offerings.

STEAM looks horrible, even for a 3DS game. Can you imagine what a Paper Mario on the Wii U would look like? Just look at how beautiful Yoshi's Woolly World already is, but then in 3D!

I wish Nintendo gave Kirby a rest and let HAL make something else than Kirby games, prefferably a 3D game...

I think STEAM looks awesome, especially for a 3DS game. Wish it was on the Wii U instead. I always thought Paper Mario was stupid. Meh.

For what reason(s) do you think Paper Mario is "stupid"?

Both announced next year, neither released until 2016, count on it!

Animal Crossing will be either Winter 2015 or Spring 2016, and Paper Mario will probably be in 2016 or 2017.

nice

Personally, I'm not all that big on either of those franchises but I definitely hope that an Animal Crossing game comes to WiiU. The game would function perfectly on the Gamepad and it would certainly go over well in Japan.

I can see Animal Crossing getting the poor man's E3 treatment. (Meaning it'll be shown on a Direct.) However, I think Paper Mario might be one of Nintendo's big titles for E3 next year. AC could release Holiday 2015 and Paper Mario is most definitely releasing sometime in 2016, if they even decide to show it.
