Forums - Microsoft - Forza Horizon 2 dev grilled by BBC journalist

I thought this vid was interesting:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-27806161

You have your typical non-gaming journalist complaining about sequels, and doesnt ask about whats good but rather impromptly suggests that the sequel is a barely improved version of the xbox 360 original, putting the dev in a very pressured spot, where he cant talk about the game in a positive light, but more so a defensive way.

To add fuel to the fire, he asks 2 people about fh2, one of which says it's barely an upgrade from the original, one of whom is more positive and says it looks nicer

Destiny dev

Same interviewer seems more interested in comparing Destiny to Halo rather than asking about Destiny - dumbass!

Around the Network

"This E3 has been about existing franchise after existing franchise"
I stopped watching the video right there.

Typical non gaming journalist. Hate the BBC's tech and game coverage.

What a dick. Seems like he doesn't even know video games. Asking what "made using Forza 5's engine" means.

Added another shameful video from BBC

Around the Network

He responded pretty well.

Douchey, unfair and completely retarded.

Racing game is pretty much only going to bring in racing fans. (paraphrased) Whoa there, dude, don't get too deep, you might drown.

That one journalist isn't that good but the BBC has some of the best journalists in the world and produces news of the highest quality.

That was one shitty interview. You could tell right from his "sequel after sequel" intro that he had a pretty obvious agenda for where he wanted the interview to go.

well most games are sequals anyway, but whether those sequals bring something new is another matter.
