Nope, you pay it to send the likes of Lineker out to Brazil to comment from a temporary studio built purely for the World Cup, when they could easily do the exact same job from their standard studio ;p

Exactly, ridiculous, plus poor ITV have to pay it from their own cash, BBC get a free pass. Plus ITV has miles better coverage of the world cup.

Forza horizon 1 wasnt released last year.

GTA has multiple entry, but just because it's the same name doesnt mean its the same game.

A healthy console has a healthy mix of exclusives of new ip's and existing franchises

I'm no racing game fanatic but if I remember correctly, Forza 5 was released last year, Forza Horizon was released the year before and Forza 4 the year before that. So the franchise is being released annually.

I get that it's being developed by different studios and the settings are different (arcadey VS sim), but you can say something similar for COD games. Black Ops has a different setting and feel due to Treyarch making it while Modern Warfare has Infinity Ward behind it. Now with the latest game, COD:AW is being released with a 3 year dev cycle while Forza Horizon only took 2 years to make.
