Somewhere around 0 and 40 games per year!

Used to buy around 30-40 or so each year, mostly from trade and swaps but lately I've been slowing down until I find a job.

Retail, I probably acquire 5-7 game/year (mostly from gifts), but retail+digital would be closer to 20-30 (humble bundles make it quite easy...)

I buy a lot more games than I finish.
My backlog is getting pretty big lol.

31 Wii U discs; 21 indies and 10 Virtual console. So 62 games I bought for the Wii U last year.

I usually buy games on sale (physical and digital), but I also buy used games on ebay, facebook and from charity shops. So far I've bought 31 physical games (23 X360, 3 3DS, 2 PSP, 1 Wii, 1 PS and 1 PC) and 50+ digital games (3 XBL, 2 3DS and a bunch of Humble Bundle games) this year.

Probably about 30 although this year is going to be quite low seeing as its the generation changeover year and there's not much coming. Decided that this gen im going to slightly pickier with my game pruchases though so I can finally get around to replaying some classics. That and im also realising id prefer to pump more time into some games than I have previously been allowed too, been getting too rushed buying everything.

None since I have PS+. Instant games collection keeps me busy.

I buy between 10-12 AAA brand new games every year (I firmly believe in supporting to developers) and have done so for well, pretty much my entire gaming life. With digital and indie, I could buy around 4-6 of those each year.

I also play sport games but only buy those every other year, same thing with any franchise that releases a game every single year eg. AC, I tend to buy every other year. So when I get AC:U, I will not be getting AC:2015 until sometime in 2016 when its been discounted or I can get it used for super cheap.

So far this year, I got (or will be getting); I:SS, Thief, TR:DE, Watchdogs, AC:U, COD:AW, DC, GTAV (skipped buying this last gen cause I felt it would come to PS4), TLoU:RE (same as GTAV), MGS5:GZ, Child of light.

I usually never buy more than 1 FPS per year or more than 1 racer per year. Last year my FPS was KZ:SF, so this year its gonna be COD:AW, next year it should be either farcry 4 or rainbow six.

OH! I I finish every single game I buy (and by finish I mean I platinum the game or at least come really close) before I start another game. This usually means that I play my games on multiple difficulty settings and more than once.
