Sad, i hope they get some great jobs. Gametrailers is my main site for gaming news, and Kyle Bosman and Pachter are the only two shows i ever watch.

Its always sad to hear people losing their jobs. Hope the land on their feet.
One has to wonder, and a friend of mine and I were discussing this just a few days ago. With the rise of Youtube and an ability to have youtube channels, why do dedicated sites like gametrailers even exist? Wouldn't it be more cost effective to just have a studio that hosts shows, reveals, interviews and instantly upload everything to a youtube channel? Even live coverage is better on youtube than it was on gametrailers. I don't know, t just seems somewhat redundant.
I for one would rather have just a youtube app on my PS4/tablet/phone or just have youtube open in my browser 24/7 and access to all my subscribed channels and get updates when their is new content. It simply makes no sense now going to 5 different sites to get game news/videos. Ah well.....

That's what I do. I just subscribe to the channels I like on youtube, and then watch all new additions I'm interested in on my phone via Youtube app.
There are Gametrailers and IGN apps, but they really suck compared to youtube, I deleted them as soon as I downloaded them.

Marcus Beer has left GT almost one year ago and now has a youtube show (that doesn't go well);.
Kyle bossman can choose to stay or leave..

Pachter isn't paid for his segment, so I doubt it.
