If all of these characters made it in, along with the current 33 characters announced, the roster would be 53. I would love for that to happen, but it probably won't, so some have to go.

Captain Falcon, Ness and Jigglypuff are all Smash Veterans so I expect them to make a return. High chance Ganondorf will return as well. Wario, Meta Knight and perhaps Falco I think could return and a big maybe on Game and Watch.

In my opinion, Snake is out, and so are the leftovers from melee

OT: C.Falcon, Ness, Jigglypiff, Ganon, Wario, Meta-Knight and Falco will return!

All Perfect Attendance Veterans will return so theres no need to worry about Captain Falcon, Ness and Jigglypuff.

I also know that the Ice Climbers will return as well with Falco and Ganon.

I don't think ROB will be coming back as I think he was a one and done novelty.

They might as well have confirmed Mr.Game & Watch when they showed off Pac-Man.

Wario will make a comeback for sure, and I also think Wolf and Lucas will as well.

Everybody will come back from SSBB except for Squirtle+Ivysaur+Snake and maybe Lucas. Also only returning cut character from melee that has a chance is mewtwo!

I dunno. I was thinking perhaps they might've cut G&W's place for Pac Man but he's a Melee veteran so I still think he has a good chance to be back.

Ice Climbers- Hopefully gone. I don't like chain grabs, and the characters have only starred in one crappy game outside Smash.

Captain Falcon- Definitely in.

Dr. Mario- Maybe an alternate costume, but not in the game.

Wario- Pretty much a sure thing.

Ness- Yes.

Lucas-No.

Pichu- No.
Jigglypuff- Been in every game as a secret character... Probably will be.
Newtwo- No.
Squirtle- No :( :( :(
Ivysaur- No :( :( :(

Ganondorf- I think so. Hopefully with a new move set.
Young Link- No reason to have Young Link and Toon Link.

Roy- Nope.

Mr. Game & Watch- Basically confirmed.

Meta-Knight- God I hope not.

Falco- Yeah. Star Fox needs another rep. I'd like some major changes to the moveset.
Wolf- Nope.

R.O.B.- Probably not.

Solid Snake- Almost certainly not.
