See falco and ivysaur I see making it in but a complete overhaul. Falco was basically a clone character and they need a grass representative since they already have Greninja and Charizard. Might be just a new pokemon in general.

Meta knight kicked ass needs a nerf. Sakurai loves kirby so he's high on the list.

Ness captain falcon and jiggly will probably since they were in since the first game.

Wario also good chance.

Everyone else won't return except a BIG maybe on wolf.

There needs to be captain falcon, ness, and jigglypuff in it.

Mr. Game & Watch is already confirmed. He's in the PacMan trailer.

Just looking at the items, enemies, and Assist Trophies, Ness, Captain Falcon, Wario, and Ice Climbers are pretty much confirmed. They also confirmed Game & Watch in the PacMan trailer, and in the Smash Direct it was confirmed that transformation characters would not be in this game, so Pokemon Trainer/Squirtle/Ivysaur are out. With the pretty guaranteed to return Jigglypuff, that makes 5 pokemon characters, so I highly doubt there'll be anymore, meaning MewTwo's still out aswell. As for the rest, I got no real proof or anything, but Ganandorf, Metaknight and Falco will definitely be back, while Snake, Young Link, Pichu, Dr. Mario, R.O.B., and Roy definitely wont be. Wolf could go either way!
