Now I'm playing the Alpha mind you, but the game doesn't seem SO great. Yes I realize this is a VERY tiny slice but the main shooting mechanics are pretty ordinary. I'm going to enjoy the story and the powers will make things interesting later on not to mention the later locations and random events will elevate it too but the visuals and basic shooting are not going to be liked by some reviewers. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of "It's just borderlands and Halo mating" reviews (not those exact words mind you but that's the basic sentiment they'll say) that will drag down the meta.

Not likely about the metascore because right now genuinely good games fail to break even the 80s mark like Wolfenstein which is the best fps in years, but saying that its gonna sell PS4s is 1+1=2. It's getting an exclusive bundle, the game is basically marketed as a PS4 exclusive and has exclusive content. I'm guessing 2 million with digital sales first week for PS4.

Definitely will shift systems, and rightly so. It looks awesome.

Don't think it'll be the highest meta game of the year though. 91 would be my guess and I just feel like Smash Wii U will be higher. Let's see I suppose.

I agree about it selling consoles but it won't be the highest rated game of the year. It will get mid to high 80s.

based on Alpha people who are still hating on Destiny better get ready for crow, game will get very high scores and sell truckloads.
