I wouldn't know since I didn't purchase any tickets for that. So whoever went or witnessed the material online instead, was it worth it? ...or did they just waste their time.

At the cost of $0.00, i'd say it was infinitely worth it.

Yeah, entree was free, so the only cost was driving to a participating theater. They also gave out goodies for people who attended, someone in the forums got a $5 PSN voucher...so all in all, can't really see how anyone could complain.

Yeah originally I was under the impression that it cost money for entrance also, but someone in the forums corrected me.  For a free show...hell, it's hard to beat a movie theater for graphical fidelity/audio for a show like E3 (except...you know, maybe being at E3 heh).

Was it justified though? Lol...

Just because something is free does not mean it was worth your time. I heard there was a lot of problems with the streaming which would make the experience less than pleasurable.

It was free and they got $5 PSN credit. I think it was much better than watching from home.

those were big moments but the crowd erupted even more when the Destiny bundle, Miyazaki's name, LBP3, and Batman gameplay concluded.  It was fun to be there and hear the applauses and reactions and be able to express your excitement to a big crowd.

I went with my friends and it was fun experience talking with other playstation fans. If they do it again next year I would love to go again. A playstation lanyard, destiny and hardline beta, $5 code (I havent received yet), and a poster.
