Mario Maker is something I've been drooling over for a while. Of course, they'll have to include more than one row of sprites to drag-n-drop for it to be truly a sandbox creative tool. If they would do this for Zelda....man. Could you imagine the creative power of those Minecraft people making Zelda dungeon puzzles? o.O

Leaving aside the glorious Lunar Magic, Mario Maker might simply be the best Mario-related level creator ever!

F Zero.

It could also come with a new, fully fledged HD F Zero as an optional extra.

I don't think it will be that great. I expect it will be a lot like Little Big Planet, great fun at first but gets boring fast.

Wasn't part of LBP's problem that it was a flawed platformer at its heart? Because an 8-Bit based Mario one seems like that wouldn't be a thing for it. - I mean you may be right be smart Mii-Verse use plus 8-Bit physics sound to me like a winning combo.

Mario Maker looks neat, but that's about all that I could see this working with in fairness.

There's plenty of racing games with a level creator in them already and I can't see the principle working for a more fluid genre liike an action game or even an RPG.

But yes, let's hope that this manages to show off the gamepad and create plenty of neat Mario levels with it!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
