Yep it happened at least multiple times infact their was a game studio who got the rights to the name and published a couple of Dragon Ball Z games, the real Atari is alive in a spiritual form called Chuckie Cheeses Nolan Bushnell is the one founder of Chuckie Cheeses.

Nordic games made terrible games for the Wii.

I think I remember a mario kart clone that came with an inflatable go kart, and some sing star clones. I think that was Nordic games at least. I may remember them wrong.

It's weird that an Austrian company is named Nordic Games. Austria isn't nordic.

It's weird that an Austrian company is named Nordic Games. Austria isn't nordic.

They did develop some decent games, like Legend of Kay on PS2 and DS, which sold terribly.

The LJN name was also used an obscure Dreamcast racing game.
