I'm amazed they still do the character designs so horribly after the original Xenoblade. You would have thought they were going to at least try to fix the one downside of the game, but no.

Even so, the rest of the game looks magnificent, so I don't really care.

Yes, this is the first time we see up-close stuff like character models and the insides of mechs, and they both look a bit off.  For instance, this is a screenshot Nintendo provided in their e3 press kit: 

Why would they include this?  Low res/blurry textures everywhere, some really simple low-poly models and stuff - it's like the low res texture on Samus's suit or the doors from the original Metroid Prime: if you're gonna show us something up close, make sure it looks nice, if even for that one scene.

reviews will be 90+ on meta for sure. Xenoblade is claimed to be one of the best if not the best jrpg of last gen yet it looked bad (graphically).

the game is looking so fantastic. Open World is looking 10x bigger than Xenoblade for Wii (not overexaggerating)

The whole game is technically unimpressive, the only thing saving it is the art, envoriments are also low poly and also have low rs textures every where, the lighting is really lacking as well.

hopefully, but iam mostly intrested in the mech gameplay and general free roam.  if i can level up by screwing around then all the better.
