I love how everyone is always like "uh Nintendo always rehashes their games, I want some new stuff" and then when they show a new IP it's always "I want F-Zero! Zelda! Mario! Metroid!".

So much truth to this statement...

A month from now those same people will be complaining about how Nintendo hasn't come up with a new IP since Pikmin...

And for whatever reason, S.T.E.A.M. and Splatoon won't count as new IP's...

Yeah, I agree. Do I want a new Metroid more badly? Yes. Will I complain about a new IP like this if it is good? Nope. Splatoon looks fun as well.

Will they show it at the Treehouse event tomorrow? Imagine they'd show it with SMT x FE, omg.

Was this the secret game they announced yesterday?

It was announced before that, but yes.

This e3 man... THIS e3!!! Havn't been this excited for Nintendo for a while!!!!

Desperate Nintendo is best Nintendo. I can't believe this Lincoln vs Aliens game is Miyamoto's new IP game! Unless polygon is lying.

Gamexplain is tweeting the same thing so I doubt it's a joke.

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.

Intelligent Systems sure know their strategy games. I love advance wars and fire emblems, so I'm sure I'll love this. It sounds great.
