Honestly the game with its current content should not have been 60$ in the first place, I'm guessing that is why Nintendo had to throw in a free game with the purchase. Mario kart 7, to me, offered more being 1/3 cheaper at launch.

Good deal none the less.

It's my favorite MK game in terms of pure gameplay, but it is seriously lacking in the content. Hopefully Nintendo releases free DLC to offset that.
