Hyrule Warriors looks amazing! Xenoblade X obviously got delayed so they can polish it up now that they established the mapout of the entire overworld. 2014 and 2015 will be the year of The U at last!

I really hope they show more, maybe some actual gameplay and a proper discussion with Aonuma about the game.

Like others have said, I wasn't expecting to see the first ~40 minutes of Xenoblade X, or to see such honest gameplay of Hyrule Warriors.

If I'd been asked after the reveal but before I got into the Treehouse streams I'd have said no, but now I'm not so sure. I think that first snippet could have been there to get us talking and then towards the end, have more a gameplay/story oriented look at it. I know it's cliché as all hell to point to the TP trailer, but I think something like that; that gives a bit of insight into what the game will be and a title, would be plausible (and sweet). Could be the last thing they show at E3, get those last headlines coming out of the show.

Last I heard, they told Kotaku it's the in-game engine but not actual gameplay. Similar to how the in-game engine is used to power cutscenes in Zelda, but camera angles/animations/events happen that won't be replicated by the actual gameplay.

Gameplay and in engine are 2 very different things.

Also, some people have mentioned something rather interesting: there's still no official source for that trailer.

Shocking lack of info there, and certainly no trailer; 4 screens and "More info coming soon", nothing else is up, not even dev or publisher...

Compare that with Kirby: http://e3.nintendo.com/games/wiiu/kirby/ another game we saw relatively little of at the presentation.

I think we may see a fuller trailer and hopefully some chat. But don't want to hype.

Cooming soon was at the end of TP's trailer at E3 2004. That's the meaning of soon for Nintendo.

Anyway, they have already overshadowed Hyrule Warriors, they don't want to dissapear completly with a new trailer.

BTW, I remember Reggie talking about the game is depht in development and this was just a teaser. I'll expect more info maybe at a future ND between December and GDC 2015.

Sounds about right.  They got us hooked, they'll show more after Hyrule Warriors is out.

Hyrule Warriors is definitely it's own game. I don't think showing something more substantial for Zelda U would overshadow it.

Right now, people either care about Hyrule Warriors or don't, people in that first group aren't going to put off it by more Zelda.
