I loved it!!!
The people who still care about the 360 right now aren't paying attention to events like E3.

What do you mean?
| Mr_No said: Not surprising. They did that in the past with the first Xbox, so I expected for them to do the same with the 360. |
I'd say its quite a different situation considering the first Xbox was dead before the 360 launched. The 360 right now is still selling a fair amount both in terms of hardware and software. Games are still coming to the 360 they just didn't speak about it (COD, Spark, Forza).

Original Xbox: 2001-2005; M$ pulled the plug on software AND hardware as the generation was coming to a close.
Xbox 360: 2005-2014, still going and still receiving a steady stream of major 3rd party releases, and M$ isn't pulling the plug on the hardware anytime soon.
Yup... they're doing the same thing with the 360 as they did with the original XB. You realize the 360 has had a longer life span than the original DS at this point, don't you?

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Errr, I care about the 360 and I was paying attention to this E3.
I've been with a 360 since 2006.
Microsoft doesn't need to convince its fanbase to buy a 3rd Xbox 360, it needs to convince its fanbase that the outrageous price they paid to own an Xbox One wouldn't have been better spent on a lifetime supply of Twinkies.

I know it now, but apart from the cross-gen titles and the rest of the games that are going to be released, was there an important title announcement for the 360 at Microsoft's conference? This year's conference focused solely on Xbox One, and while they're not gonna pull the plug immediately on the 360, the lack of game announcements for it is self-explanatory.

Well the last major first party title for the 360 will be Horizon 2 this September still a pretty long run. Especially since the orginial X-Box went out of production before the 360 actually officially launched. Production of the original X-Box stopped in August of 2005 due to a bad business deal between NVida who made the GPU for the console and MS.
is halo collection on 360 too as amazon had a link for it
anyway, this was obviously going to happen
