Xbox 360:  2005-2014, still going and still receiving a steady stream of major 3rd party releases, and M$ isn't pulling the plug on the hardware anytime soon.

Yup... they're doing the same thing with the 360 as they did with the original XB.  You realize the 360 has had a longer life span than the original DS at this point, don't you?

I know it now, but apart from the cross-gen titles and the rest of the games that are going to be released, was there an important title announcement for the 360 at Microsoft's conference? This year's conference focused solely on Xbox One, and while they're not gonna pull the plug immediately on the 360, the lack of game announcements for it is self-explanatory.


Well the last major first party title for the 360 will be Horizon 2 this September still a pretty long run.  Especially since the orginial X-Box went out of production before the 360 actually officially launched.  Production of the original X-Box stopped in August of 2005 due to a bad business deal between NVida who made the GPU for the console and MS.
